Ryan grew up in the real estate business and obtained his license in the late 90s.

Ryan brings to the table not only a lifetime of real estate knowledge, but also a unique skillset, based upon his vast experience working for some of the biggest Fortune 100 and Global 200 companies!

Ryan is one of the founding members of "Agents Connect", the premiere Realtor Networking Group in the Conejo Valley helping Realtors from throughout Ventura and Los Angeles Counties network with other Realtors, grow professionally and pitch their latest listings and buyer needs.

Education

Ryan holds a Master's Degree from California Lutheran University and has been through management training with Harvard Business School. 

Ryan is well-versed in a variety of real estate disciplines such as Real Estate Investmenting, Property Management, Foreclosure Assistance and Relocation.

Hidden fees While other companies charge their clients hidden fees of up to several hundred dollars for things such as “electronic document storage” we do not believe in making our clients pay for our legal requirement to store our transaction files.
Third party transaction coordinators While other companies pass their clients off to a third party to manage paperwork, while charging up to $500 for this “service” at Huggins Homes we stay with our clients every step of the way and never pass them off to a third party, let alone charge for that!
Charge buyers to show property While some other companies charge their buyer clients to open the door to a home, Huggins Homes will never charge a buyer for showing a home, which is part of our jobs as real estate agents and Brokers.

  • Ventura County Sheriff’s Department – Ryan volunteered for over 10 years with their Thousand Oaks Disaster Assistance Response Team and is currently a member of the Auxillary Communications Service.
  • Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors - Ryan has been a member of the Board of Directors for his local realtor association since 2020.  Prior to that Ryan was a committee member and in charge of the association's Young Professionals Network Group.
  • California Association of Realtors - Ryan is a State Director for the Association of Realtors, since 2024.
  • Ventura County Fire Department – Ryan volunteered for over 11 years with them and was part of the first group of Fire Department volunteers!
  • Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department - Malibu Search and Rescue – Ryan volunteered for over 11 years with this team.  Ryan was involved with many missing person searches, injured climbers rescues, brush fires, a host of special and high-profile assignments including assisting Major Crimes, Homicide and Special Enforcement Bureaus.
  • Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department - Open Source Intelligence Team (OSINT) - Ryan volunteered with this team for 10 years, simultaneously with the Malibu Search and Rescue Team.  Ryan was involved in a wide variety of research tasks, some of which even helped shape department policies!
  • Ryan played a key role in putting on the first ever 805 Wine and Brew Festival in 2018, raising over $8,000 for local charities!
