Ryan Huggins wins Community Service Award

We at Huggins Homes are honored to announce that our agent, Ryan Huggins, is the recipient of the prestigious 2017 Community Service Award from the Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors. Ryan was nominated and chosen out of 2,300 Realtors in the association!

Ryan was recognized for his tireless devotion to the people of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties through his volunteer work, which started in 2002. Some of the organizations Ryan has been involved with include:

• The Ventura County Sheriff's Department

• The Ventura County Fire Department

• The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department

• Malibu Search and Rescue

• The FBI's InfraGard Program

• West Hills Hospital – Mass Casualty Mass Decontamination Team

• Los Robles Hospital – Disaster Management Team

As a part of his volunteering, Ryan has also received specialized training from The US Department of Homeland Security and The Joint Regional Intelligence Center.

In addition to volunteering a combined average of over 50 hours a month with these organizations, Ryan also donates to various local charities including the Red Cross, Widow and Orphan Funds for local fallen firefighters and law enforcement, Ventura County Sheriff's K9 Search and Rescue, For The Troops and various local animal shelters. Ryan has also help organize, run and has been a part of several food drives for local food banks such as Manna and the Ventura County Food Bank.

As if that wasn't enough, Ryan also gives back to the real estate community through being the Chairman of the Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtor's “Young Professionals Network” committee, serving on the association's Asset and Building Management committee and he is involved in mentoring other real estate agents across the country through several professional networking groups.

Ryan has also been recognized by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors and the Los Angles County Sheriff's Department for his volunteer efforts.
